Formed in 1982 by Michael & Elaine Burns and joined in 2005 by daughter Joanna.

All work is project managed by our dedicated staff. Working with major furniture and appliance manufacturers, the company first began supplying the North West corner of Cumbria but later established a wider geographical market place based on recommendation from satisfied customers. In 1998 Modern Homes opened the showroom in Puerto Banus, first concentrating on fitted bedrooms and then moving into kitchens. The showroom is situated in the Cristamar Centre near the port, and attracts a wide customer base from all parts of the world. Again, our reputation has given us access to other EEC Countries. When choosing a fitted kitchen or bedroom, customers can be guaranteed the widest choice of products from the UK and the Continent.
